Privacy policy

26 October 2026

About this policy

Fairland Group Pty Ltd, ABN 13 609 132 363 (Fairland, we, us), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

It applies to Fairland and its brands and websites, including the websites of our communities. When one of our community websites links to this policy, this is the policy that applies to it.

The information we collect

When you make an enquiry or register your interest, we collect your name, email address and phone number, and the details of your enquiry: the community, stage or lots you are interested in, what you are looking for (such as land or a house and land package), when you are looking to buy, what best describes you as a buyer, and any message you send us.

We also record your consent (when you gave it and the version of the wording you agreed to) and how you found us: the page you enquired from, the website that referred you, and any campaign codes in the link you followed.

When you use our websites, we receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. We use it to keep our forms secure and free of spam, and keep it only briefly for that purpose.

We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health or financial details, through our websites.

How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you: through the forms on our websites, and when you call, email or visit us.

Some information is collected automatically when you use our websites, as described under Cookies and similar technologies below.

How we use it

We use your personal information to respond to your enquiry; to tell you about our communities, land, house and land packages, events and offers; to manage our relationship with you; to improve our websites and services; to measure our advertising; to keep our websites secure; and to meet our legal obligations.

Marketing and your choices

When you send us an enquiry and agree to be contacted, we add your details to our mailing list so we can keep you informed about Fairland and its communities.

You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or by contacting us using the details below.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed for the purposes in this policy: with trusted service providers who help us run our websites, store our data, send our communications and understand how our websites and advertising perform; with our related companies; and with partners involved in a community you have asked about, where that is needed to respond to you.

We may also disclose personal information where the law requires or authorises it. We do not sell personal information.

Information held overseas

Some of the personal information we hold is stored in Australia, and some is stored or processed overseas by our service providers. We take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected wherever it is held.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our websites keep a small amount of information on your device that they need to work: your cookie choice, a form you have started, any lots you have shortlisted, and a security check that a form is being sent by a person rather than an automated program. This is always on.

If you choose Accept all on a website’s cookie banner, that website may also use analytics and advertising cookies, to understand how it is used and to measure our advertising. The providers of these services handle that information under their own privacy policies. If you choose Essential only, they are not used. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. Our websites use encrypted connections, your information is held with established hosting providers, and access to it is limited to authorised staff.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.

Access, correction and anonymity

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days.

You can browse our websites without telling us who you are. To respond to an enquiry, we need your contact details.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question about privacy, or believe we have not handled your personal information properly, please contact our Privacy Officer. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
